This spot sits in the Berkeley/Regis area, which feels very residential and lived-in, with a mix of longtime locals, families, and students connected to nearby Regis University. You’ll notice quiet streets, modest homes, and neighbors going about their day rather than tourist crowds. It’s not a flashy or nightlife-heavy pocket, but it’s generally calm, especially at night, and most people get around by car. A few local spots and campuses are close by, while busier areas like Tennyson Street and LoHi are a short drive away. Overall, it’s the kind of neighborhood where you come back to relax and recharge after exploring Denver.
Getting around from here is pretty straightforward, especially if you have a car. Most guests find driving the easiest way to explore Denver, whether you’re heading downtown, checking out neighborhoods like LoHi or Tennyson Street, or catching a show at Red Rocks. Parking is generally easy and low-stress compared to busier parts of the city, which makes coming and going simple. If you prefer not to drive, rideshares are reliable and widely used, and there are nearby bus routes that can get you into central areas with a bit of extra time. Walking is fine for a quick neighborhood stroll, but most people plan to hop in a car for errands, dining, and sightseeing.

😎 What’s Denver, CO (and specifically the Chaffee Park neighborhood) all about?
Chaffee Park is a low-key, mostly residential Denver neighborhood that feels more lived-in than polished, with a mix of longtime locals, young families, and folks who’ve been here for decades. Within about a half mile you’ll see tree-lined streets, older ranch homes, and people walking dogs or heading to Berkeley Lake Park, which is a neighborhood staple for morning walks and sunsets. Food and coffee are close but not chaotic—places like Hops & Pie and nearby spots along Tennyson draw locals rather than crowds. It’s generally quiet at night, safe in the everyday city sense, and more about practicality than buzz. You may notice some street noise or city grit at times, but most guests appreciate that it feels authentic, easy to navigate, and well-positioned for getting around Denver without staying in a tourist bubble.

Chris’s place was great and he communicated with us very well and offered lots of recommendations
Loved staying at this location, super spacious rooms, a full kitchen that really made me and my guest feel at home. 10/10
Loved this place while we stayed in Denver. Very clean and perfect for our stay. I will definitely recommend staying here and would be booking again whenever visiting Denver.
